Joshua/Jesus of Nazareth is his Followers Only Pastor!

"I am the good shepherd/pastor; the good shepherd/pastor lays down His life for the sheep.  He who is a hired hand (clergyman, 'church' leaders, etc.), and not a shepherd/pastor, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters  them.  He flees because he is a hired hand and is not concerned about the sheep.  I am the good shepherd, and I know my own and my own know me,  even as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.  I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear my voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd/pastor."

(John 10:11-16)

A few simple things to note about this saying of the Light.

The Greek word behind the English term "shepherd" in this passage is 'poimen'.

In Ephesians 4:11, Paul writes, "And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors (poimen-as) and teachers..."

Please note, the translators of all the major bible versions translated the same Greek word "poimen" as "pastor" that they translated as "shepherd" in John 10.  Did you understand that dear reader?  They did this to avoid the plain contradiction that is created if they properly translated what Paul wrote in Eph. 4:11 as "shepherds".  They did this because they are respecters of the traditions men and of Paul instead of followers of the Light.

Here is the Wiki definition of "pastor" found at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pastor

"The word "pastor" derives from the Latin noun pastor which means "shepherd" and relates to the Latin verb pascere - "to lead to pasture, set to grazing, cause to eat"."

So, Wiki is correct - the term "pastor" mean's "shepherd" - they are synonymous terms.

Since this is true - please verify it if you'd like - it has extremely serious implications regarding what Joshua/Jesus of Nazareth says in the John 10 passage above.

What does the Only Good Shepherd/poimen say in the passage above?

There is only ONE Good Shepherd/Pastor, himself, Joshua/Jesus of Nazareth.  That would preclude more than one good shepherd/pastor dear reader!  This means those who call themselves "pastors" or some equivalent are at a minimum something less than "Good".  The following sayings will clarify this further.

The only Good Shepherd says, "He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd/pastor, who is not the owner of the sheep..."

So, we conclude that any person who receives money or material compensation ("hired hand") for the purpose of supposedly leading Joshua's sheep - and who claims to be some kind of a leader of Joshua's/Jesus' followers - is in fact, NOT.  Joshua/Jesus plainly says that those who take money or material compensation for the express purpose of leading/pastor-ing/shepherd-ing Joshua's/Jesus' sheep is, "not a pastor/shepherd".  Thus, those who take some form of the title of "pastor" are deceived or liars.

You might ask, 'what about Joshua's teaching on being worthy of wages?  Here is the quote, "Stay in that house, eating and drinking what they provide; for the laborer is deserving of his wages".  That is found in Luke 10 - please read the passage from verse 1 to 12 for the full context.  Here is the key distinction between John 10's "hired hand" and Luke 10's "laborer is deserving of his wages" - In John 10, Joshua is talking about BEING A Shepherd/Leader, while in Luke 10, he is addressing DOING HIS WORK.  Those who go out and actually DO THE WORK of proclaiming Joshua's good news of being set free from bondage and finding Life in His Father and himself are worthy of wages - they should be materially supported AS THEY DO THAT WORK.  In contrast, a person taking any title that conveys to people they are somehow a shepherd or leader or teacher of "God's people"; and who accepts money for doing so; is a hired hand and under the self-condemnation of the truth the Word spoke in John 10.

Instead of faithful disciples DOING THE WORK of proclaiming the real, historical Joshua of Nazareth and HIS good news, you have religious organizations and social clubs where no one is going out and preaching anything, but rather they are just sitting around in comfortable buildings they build for themselves and repeatedly affirming their own beloved falsehoods and religious traditions.

Joshua gave the roles that his followers can fill, or stated another way, the functions they fulfill while following him.  He said this, "Therefore, behold, I am sending you prophets and wise men and scribes; some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will beat in your religious organizations, and persecute from city to city..."  Matt. 23  Any disciple filling those roles or doing the work of those functions is worthy of support or wages.  Prophets speak God's truths, particularly the unpopular ones, with courage and power and conviction to the people in the culture where they are.  Wise men are mature (older) disciples that help with all aspects of serving the King and particularly helping form and maintain Joshua's Families.  Scribes are writers who use their skills to preserve and proclaim the truths of Joshua in written form.

Joshua plainly said - and it makes perfect sense - that HE is to be his followers ONLY TEACHER, SHEPHERD, LEADER and he further said we all - all of humanity - have only ONE TRUE FATHER, our Creator/Father in the realm of heaven.  Any person who seeks to take those roles of spiritual teacher, shepherd, leader of Father - is going to face a really harsh judgment for THEY are taking the responsibility of leading those people who look to them out of darkness, bondage and self-condemnation and into a life of seeking truth and living out love.  Paul was the first arrogant man to presume, not only that he was worthy of being people's spiritual leader, but to think he knew better than Joshua as he contradicts Joshua and nullifies Joshua's most important teaching on leadership.  See The Stranger: The Apostle Paul

Back to John 10, to make his point perfectly clear, Joshua/Jesus refers to the type of shepherd in his day that actually owned his own sheep.  Thus, he says that those who take money or material compensation for the express purpose of leading/pastor-ing/shepherd-ing Joshua's/Jesus' sheep is "not the owner of the sheep".  There is only ONE owner of the followers of the Good Shepherd, and it is ONLY the Good Shepherd for only HE owns HIS sheep.

Please, go ahead and ask your pastor/shepherd if he receives any money or material compensation for being that organization's "pastor" or other such title of authority of 'leadership'.  And when he/she starts to justify him/herself and thus nullify Joshua's/Jesus' words/teachings, I suggest you do what Joshua says...

"Let them (religious leaders) alone; they are blind guides of the blind. And if a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit."

(Matt. 15:14)

Furthermore, Joshua says, "my own know me".  That of course means that Joshua's sheep - his followers, because sheep follow the Shepherd - know HIM, not 'the bible'.  That means that we know the teachings of Joshua of Nazareth found in the four books that record his life and teachings, otherwise known as the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.  Most Christians are clueless as to the teachings and ways of the One who says, "I am the Way".  Instead, their minds are filled with bible trash or other 'revelations' from 'prophets' so called, or the latest positive thinking philosophers.

Perhaps most importantly, in this passage, Joshua says, "...and they will become ONE flock with ONE Shepherd/Pastor".

Dear reader, how many flocks?  He does say "one", doesn't he?

By some estimates, there are about 40,000 sects/divisions/denominations - flocks - of biblians/christians at this time.  How do the deluded one's respond to this fact?  "Oh, there is truly only one body of christ".  Here is the definition of "delude" - "to cause (someone) to believe something that is not true".  Thus, those who are deluded are those who believe something that is not true, and this in spite of the facts right in front of their face.  Again, to believe that 'Christianity' and the thousands of divided sects that make it up is somehow unified as Paul's mysterious "body of christ" is to be deluded.

This teaching of Joshua in John 10 is in perfect harmony with his later teaching in John 17, where he says...

"The glory which You have given me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as we are one; I in them and You in me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent me, and loved them, even as You have loved me."

(John 17:22-23)

So, the deluded one's who want to pretend that there is some kind of "unity" among all the divisions of Christianity, simple say, "well, the body of christ is unified even though it may not appear that way..." and elude to the necessity of some 'mystical/spiritual understanding' to grasp that.

Again, that is a plain denial of reality...it is plain hogwash!  It is the religious way of making things up that please them no matter if they are true or line up with reality.  It is along the same lines of "God is in control of the events of their earth, both human and natural".

All one has to do to walk into a Pentecostal sect and say they are a Baptist and say that the Pentecostals are wrong about the 'gifts of the Spirit', and one will find out just how unified they are!  The history of Christianity is conflict and division...to deny that is to deny facts and reality.  To believe that because the members of the different sects are not in outward conflict with each other in any given place or time that they are 'unified', is the same deluded thinking that says that if the Israeli's and Palestinians are not shooting at each other, then they are at 'peace' with one another.

Finally, he says plainly, "...with one Shepherd/Pastor".  Contrast that with 'the bible's teaching' (really Paul's wrong opinion) of "And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as shepherds/pastors (poimen-as)..."

So, on the most important point - who God wants to lead people - Paul/the bible/the scripture says God gave many shepherds/pastors, while the One who defeated death says that his followers will have, "...ONE shepherd/pastor", himself.

So, who are you going to believe, reader?  Are you going to run to your bible scholars or Christian leaders to have them 'explain' why "one" does not actually mean "one"?  Are you going to run to some other "revelation" to gain the 'spiritual wisdom' to know this 'christ' who wants you to believe that people divided and with no love for each other are actually "united"!?

Tell, me, reader, why is Joshua not sufficient to be your leader?  Why do you want to listen to others to know and understand God?  Why would you do that when Joshua says...

"If you have seen me, you have seen the Father." & "No one knows the Father except the Son and to those whom the Son reveals him." & "And this is eternal life, that you may know the Father and the one whom He sent, me."

(John 14 & Matt. 11 & John 17)

So, do you want to know God and thus enter into eternal life?  If you do want that, then don't play the fool and look to others when you have the Revelation of God recorded in the four books written by eye witnesses of the Light (Matthew, John, possibly Mark) or written by those who talked with the eyewitnesses of the Light (Luke).

The simple truth is that there is only One Leader for mankind and that Leader can only be known by understanding his words in the four books that preserved them.  Do you want to be free?  Then please listen to the giver of Freedom...

"If you continue in my word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”

(John 8)

Yes, turn away from the blind leaders of Christianity as well as those claiming some new or special 'revelation' from God, and instead listen to the One who is Life!  Put yourself under the only Good Shepherd who did and would today again lay down his life in order to protect yours and lead you to Life.  Then...

Come, join the Peaceful Revolution!
